Thanks for the welcome. Just had my 75th birthday:-)

After watching and reading most of the posts and picking up lots of tips and helpful information I decided it was time to participate a little more. I look forward to chatting with you and picking your brain. One thing I have learned after 60 years of holding a camera, there is always something new to learn and I think Ugly Hedgehog appeals to all, raw amateur and Pro alike.

At times I am a rank amateur that has to remember the most basic things and other times I believe I am a gifted Pro, but in editing realize that I should review my basics. Some say a Pro knows what they are doing and others realize this is not always the case. I love the term "light tight box" where you just push a button and hope for the best. While I have made a few dollars from photography to me it is still a hobby and fun. I think photographer without a category would be fine and then we can all be humble:-)
