Love this image I was able to grab at Panama City Beach. But not sure if the full landscape version or the cropped version is most appealing. Thoughts?
thanks

At the Duquesne Incline there is a Vet's Memorial. On this rainy morning the tattered POW flag atop it, and the American flag behind it seemed to make a powerful visual statement...
ha, you talking about the lights on the cob? good catch. but not sure it's creepy.
This is Horace. He's been hanging around so long we put feeders up for him. Merry Christmas little guy.
This is our "grand-dog" Tyson. He was visiting today, ran himself silly, and learned he could swim. It was a birthday party for our grandaughter, but Tyson stole the show. This picture captures a puppy about as happy as I think I can get him on a still photo..
I've had a number of people comment on what kind of bird this is. Given the climate and time of year, they tell me it isn't a Grosbeak, but indeed a Goldfinch. Since I'm no bird specialist, I'll bow to those who really know. Thanks all.

Have to get out early to catch these guys. Mostly they were in the flower garden. But then I caught this one posing on a sunflower. There was a pleasant symmetry about the shot that I liked.
We thought this was a Parrot or some very lost bird. Turns out this is a Cardinal during molting season. We're told that a completely bald bird might also be the victim of parasites. Learn new things all the time.
If hummingbirds can be attracted to a feeder with a nectar like drink, I wondered why bees looking for nectar wouldn't also be attracted to the feeder. Tonight, I got my answer.
one more from the Keystone Safari Park at Grove City PA. My daughter got surprised when an Ostrich popped up at her window. We had just entered the drive thru part of the park and she wasn't expecting the animals to put their heads into the window. Later a donkey liked her enough to lick her. She didn't return the love...

wanted to see what the young bunnies under our shed would do with toy dinos. used corn as "bait". The rabbit was mildly interested and then drug the corn under the shed. Apparently not going to be a long term relationship.
I was fascinated by the Pelicans. This particular one "owned" a Pier Post along the riverwalk, and fed from an inlet. Caught this shot as he took off to dive for a target below
