Love this image I was able to grab at Panama City Beach. But not sure if the full landscape version or the cropped version is most appealing. Thoughts?
thanks

I like the full frame better than the cropped version but, the bird is too far to the right. Cropping a little from the left would bring the bird into the picture a little better.

The full frame is great, with the water line leading you to the bird that is zooming out of the frame. Any cropping would make the capture seem more like a mistake IMO. This is one of those compositions that can and should defy the standard rules

Of the two, I like the landscape version more. Having said, I feel it's still too far to the right. I would've done something like this and used it as wallpaper/background on my phone. It becomes a pretty heavy crop at this point, but Topaz Denoise helped.

The large widescreen version is better as it would make a great computer wallpaper.

I'm the odd ball, I think it depends on what you want to capture the persons attention. The crop version draws you to the bird immediately while the full version gives you the beach with the bird as a side item.

Landscape or greyfox's crop. Depends on what you want to do with it.

Cropped! I know I'm in the minority, but what's new?

I like the bigger one. He was flying away, so out of the frame showing more of the space he is leaving is great IMHO

Neither - not sharp, wing tips are cut off & too much negative 2nd pic.

This would be my preference as well

The full photo is better, and would be better yet if the bird was on the left with somewhere to fly.
