Call me old fashioned but I generally hang onto my gear till it no longer functions. I have an old 500D which I have used for years. Had 3 lenses for it but fell one day and totaled two of them so now it has a nifty fifty on it permanently. Which I don't find too hard as I was brought up using only 50mm lenses.
I also have a Lumix TZ80 which suits me fine now. Light and lots of options. I recently had a stroke so I just use the Lumix at the moment. Was going to get lenses for the Canon but figured I was getting older and shakier hence the Lumix. Horses for courses I guess.
Cheers

1: make sure your driver is aware of what you are doing
2: Use a high shutter speed
3: If shooting out side windows ty panning, or use the bur artistically
4: If you are the driver - DON'T - there are more than enough accidents as it is. Pull over and stop.

Cancer sucks. I am on hormone treatment (last 6 years) for my PX but doesn't bother me now. Have had it for nearly 20 years.

You have got back into photography with a bang. I like No 1 with the background black.

Good work!! Cheers

Lucky you. Cat loves you. Mine used to sit ON the keyboard, nut under it. She could write some quite long documents too!!

A great combination of gear! I had a Yashicamat for many years and absolutely loved it. Used mainly for monochrome and spent hours in the darkroom making poster sized prints. Had close up filters but no parallax correction. Just measured it.
Anyway, great photo, you know how to use your gear!!

A few photos of one of the most beautiful streets in Old Quebec. Photos were taken a few days ago, well before sunrise. All taken with an 18 - 55 mm lens set at 18 mm. ISO was set to 3200 and shutter speeds varied from 1/25 to 1/80 sec. The 5th and 6th images are of Place Royale (a town square). The church is Notre Dame des Victoires, one of the oldest churches in NA. Construction was started in 1687. The last image is of City Hall.

Just about any of them would make great Christmas Cards for next year. Sell them to a greeting card company.
Great work!!

I agree cancer sux. I have had prostate C also for 18 years now. Had turp operation. Plus radiation which really messed with me and for the last 7 or 8 years been on hormone treatment to keep it at bay. Still,it beats the alternative!
