Used Precision Colors inks in my Pro 100 for several years, but prints have faded badly. Now back to Canon inks, and slowly reprinting my badly faded "masterpieces". Lesson learnt.

Time can be a bi**h. I'm reminded of that every time I look in the mirror.

EN-El15b and a will work in the Z8 and Z7II…the original won't.

I don't have any 15B batteries.

I knew someone named Aurora. I wonder if she's been regretting that name lately.

Whatever Microwave we have had over the years they have been the simple ones to operate...a knob for low to high and one for time.

They're a bit different today, although the control panels on this Toshiba and the 2009 Farberware are identical, except for color. At least I didn't have to learn something new.

You mean you change your socks every day? Well, there's your problem. 😂

I am happy to leave a tip, I typically do at least 20%, provided that the service is decent and the server shows interest in me as a customer Nantes quality of their service and what they deliver to me.

I also always say please and thank you so they know I appreciate what they do and do for me. Terrible service get a complaint.

Yes, 20% is decent and convenient. I just double the total and round it off.

When I started losing my hair (thanks to my maternal grandfather) I would say 'grass doesn't grow on a busy street'

until I told that to a farmer, who said 'no sense puttin' a roof on a empty barn'.

My maternal grandfather, too. Although I greatly resembled my father at all stages of his life and mine, my hair did not follow that trend. There's a picture of him at about age 12, and it could be me. I got an ID card for Costco years ago, and I was shocked when I looked at the picture. It was my father! 😁

From my perspective, as I use both Nikon and non-OEM, & C in my Z6ii, I have had no problems operating the camera with my melange of batteries. I don't charge them in the camera - if I have spare batteries, why would I want to charge them in the camera?

I'm sorry that I can't use generics in either camera. Definitely odd, since other people can. I tried several generics with the same results.

Was it Einstein who said "A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind"? Looking at my desk, I must be a genius!

Yes, I tell myself that every day. I am also a genius.

So the problem is really not A,B or C version of the battery. It's because you use third party batteries. The new cameras are smarter and know that the battery isn't OEM.

All the batteries I just tried were labeled "Nikon." The Nikon EN-EL15 gave me a warning in both the Z6II and the Z8. Neither camera would operate. I guess, just by chance, I had had never put a generic into either of those cameras. I'll have to try the Zfc.

I heard the lines below decades ago, and they stuck in my head. I just looked up the author.

And here's the happy bounding flea.
You cannot tell the he from she.
The sexes look alike, you see.
But he can tell, and so can she.

More trivia from decades ago - the first singing commercial. England, around Christmas.

Hark the herald angels sing.
Beecham's pills are just the thing.
Peace on earth and mercy mild.
Two for man and one for child.

I heard that when I was 17, yet I can't remember whether or not I had breakfast. 🤣

From reading about a,b, and c EN-EL15 batteries, the info I saw said while a and b will work in the z8, only the c version will recharge in the camera. I don't think any of us save a few daring individuals charge batteries in their cameras for fear of battery damage damaging their cameras.

Yes, I never charge batteries in the camera.
