Love your bw tree and the other gnarly trees.

The oaks in our area are very interesting and almost have "personalities" (if that's possible). I'm glad you liked them Karin and appreciate the time you've taken for this post.

Such a pretty place and your eye is good with the spring time coming in rapidly now and so much to see and capture. Good luck

Our "green season" is relatively short, and it's important to enjoy it while it lasts. We've had a lot of much needed rain this year which should help extend the life of grasses and wildflowers.

Many of the oaks in our area are very picturesque, and many would make interesting subjects. I'm glad you enjoyed the series, and I appreciate your time with this post Stan. Thank you.

These are beautiful, Vicki. I love the wildflowers and the fresh green grass of spring. I also really enjoyed the gnarly oaks!

Thanks so much Carol. Everything looks refreshed after our rather wet winter. Wildflowers are becoming more abundant as the weather warms a bit.

OOPS! I meant Vicki--my aging mind wanders, and sometimes I wonder where it went.

I noticed that, but to be mistaken for Donna is flattering.

It's not just the technique of bringing out the beautiful shapes, colors, and tones, although I do appreciate that skill. Most impressive to me is the sense of composition. Quite fine!

Thank you Robert. Your artistic sensibility is appreciated.

Excellent series Vicki, the flowers are pretty and I love the trees.

The trees are much smaller than the redwoods you and Bob saw when you visited, but they're quite unique and interesting. I'm glad you liked those. We'll be able to enjoy the flowers for awhile longer after having a fairly wet winter.

Nice pics. I really like the last 2 with the meadows and trees. I'm a sucker for that. Mine don't always look so good though.

This may well be my favorite time of year. There's something wonderful about looking out the window and seeing lots of green. The season is short, and soon it will dry out.

Thanks for taking time to look and comment Leek. I'm most grateful.
