Nice pics. I really like the last 2 with the meadows and trees. I'm a sucker for that. Mine don't always look so good though.

Salad comes to mind when I hear that term. In this case, I'm referring to a collection of shots I took while on a short hike yesterday. The sun was barely peeking through the cloud cover. Everything seems new and fresh with the exception of the huge old oak in the first shot.

beautiful spring set, vicki! the flowers are so pretty, and I love that big old tree!

Nice ones Vicki, the last one makes you want to wander down the track and take it all in.

Thank you Doddy. I felt the same way about that fire road, and I followed it as long as I was able.

Lovely set Vicki, my iris have flowered and died...

These wild Iris are early bloomers here, a sure sign that it's just about Spring. I'm glad you enjoyed these Val. Thanks for letting me know.

What a great variety...love the last one!!

Thanks for taking time to comment on this set Bob. That last tree looked like it had been pruned to twist and turn like that. I suspect the wind had shaped it over many years. A few other trees were similar but not as interesting.

Vicki, this is one fantastic set of photos. The DDLs show off the details and they are great. I am a little green that you are already having so many flowers in bloom.

Wonderful set, love that old tree.

Thanks so much for the kind comment Bultaco. That tree is huge, at least 100' tall and maybe 16 (or more) feet in circumference. It's home to several species of birds.

These are all nice photos, Donna, and the last one wins the prize from me.

I'm glad you liked that shot John. The tree fascinates me, and I find it hard to believe someone hasn't been pruning and shaping it for many years.
