Thanks David. After over 60 years in the photographic industry I never had the occasion to shoot night sky images. I will now give it a try.

Thanks Steve! I did alot of research to get to this point and I really enjoy long exposure photography.
I have tried with Milky Way and Nightscape images over the years, but usually while waiting for the other camera which is normally attached to a scope to complete it's work, but just a few weeks ago I tried to spend more time on long exposure Milky Way images. Hopefully one day I can get an image somewhere that looks like your amazing images.
Really FANTASTIC images! I can't find a favorite as they are all great in different locations and features . . just stunning!
Excellent set.
I am very intrigued by the lighting of the tree and the picnic table in the first shot. Wondering if that is from a street light or such, or if it is processed in a computer program, or if it is a combination or something else. The lighting seems just right for the nature of the picture.
beautiful pictures , job well done!
Quite an accomplishment especially if you did this all in one night.
#4 & #7 are my favorites........love the effects in the lighting in the foreground......Are these Stacked or lawyered images in processing? I am new to those methods and am curious about them.
Thanks Again.
You had some nice foreground objects! Well-done. Was the moon a problem when you shot those? It's pretty bright here, and doesn't really set early enough to get good milky way shots yet.
