Here are some shots from yesterday morning around Bahia Honda state park in the FL Keys. Had to get up at 3am as the brightest spot of the Milky Way doesn't start rising until that time, this time of year.

Excellent set.

I am very intrigued by the lighting of the tree and the picnic table in the first shot. Wondering if that is from a street light or such, or if it is processed in a computer program, or if it is a combination or something else. The lighting seems just right for the nature of the picture.

I lit the subjects up with a small led flashlight.

#4 & #7 are my favorites........love the effects in the lighting in the foreground......Are these Stacked or lawyered images in processing? I am new to those methods and am curious about them.
Thanks Again.

The shots with the light painting are multiple exposures. One for the sky, and one or two for the foreground. Opened in photoshop and used layer mask to blend them.

You had some nice foreground objects! Well-done. Was the moon a problem when you shot those? It's pretty bright here, and doesn't really set early enough to get good milky way shots yet.

When I went out at 3am the moon was about 15 degrees above the horizon. By the time the Milky Way got high enough the moon was below the horizon and I had about 3 hours worth of shooting before the sun started rising. You can see in the last 2 photos how the sky is brighter from the sun.
