Which is better, the Nikon D7500 or D7200. I need a new camera.
As an old Nikon Rep. I can tell you that either will give you excellent images. You should go on line and enter this in the search box, "compair the Nikon D7500 and the Nikon D7200". You will get more than enough information to make your decision.
Right now Nikon is almost giving away the D7200.
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1127271-REG/nikon_1554_d7200_dslr_camera_body.html?sts=piI see the major differences as these.
1. The D7200 has the Exceed 4 processor and the D7500 has the Exceed 5 processor. And yes, there is a difference between them, the Exceed 5 processor is newer than the Exceed 4 processor. Will you see a difference, probably not.
2. The D7200 has two memory card slots, the D7500 has one, BIG DEAL, I was a professional photographer for over 35 years and only had one roll of film in the camera at a time. If you are not a professional photographer you will hardly need two slots PERIOD. End of story.
3. The D7500 has GROUP AUTO FOCUS, the D7200 does not, if you want to shoot a LOT of moving objects, birds, people, things, this is a great tool to use. If you just want general photo's then the D7200 is the camera for you.
I am sure others will bring up more info on why they like a particular camera model.
But, really, either camera will deliver Sharp, well exposed, color perfect images.
But, you should go on line and read all their is to know about comparing the two camera's.
I have used both and they are both wonderful camera's. HEY, they are both Nikon's, so, you can't loose.
