Talented young man. Great voice! Your son's voice reminds me of Philip Phillips, past winner of American Idol. I would encourage your son to continue working on his dreams. If possible find a good vocals coach and develop his innate talent to the fullest. I love his style of music. Best wishes!

That is exactly what I thought when I listened to it. I hope he continues his pursuit of music.

I confess I didn't search for the video (so far) because I am trying to deal with lots of
posts on the other forum.
He surely is insisting on working his voice and playing. Thanks for watching.

Greetings, Anhangá. Congratulations on your kid’s achievement ! My son is also a musician in your neck of the woods. He is the keyboardist of the band Biquini Cavadão in Rio. Always a pleasure to hear success stories. Keep’em coming ! Best, Miguel

In my younger days I used to sing with a group, I sung solo. So low you couldn't hear me.

Wow ! Biquini Cavadão is not (say) "of my time", but my wife loves them.
I am originally from Rio (Guanabara, when I was born) and moved to Cabo
Frio about 17 years ago.
My sincere congratulations to your son and the band for their great success
and thank you for your more than kind ones on my kid.

I always played and sung alone when I was younger. My vocal reach was richer, sometimes
even getting good "falsettos". Nowadays I am more to deeper tones, like Elvis on "Bridge over
troubled waters" or Richard Harris on "MacArthur Park". On the appropriate key I can kick
on "Love is all". Considering that I smoke , I feel fine with myself.

In that awkward phase of "Puppy Love", but I am impressed.

I really think your son has talent and should be encouraged to pursue his music endeavors. He did a nice job on the video as well; kudos to him.
