He is 16 and plays guitars (electric, acoustic and bass).
In that awkward phase of "Puppy Love", but I am impressed.

I liked it. Nice melody and guitar part. Pretty decent voice as well. He needs practice and a bit of training to get to the next level. Practice, practice & practice... which I didn't do, which is why I didn't get past level one performance. He sounds levels above that.
Good job!
He definitely is on the right path. Vocals are a bit weak but promising. Guitar is also upcoming. All in all, very good with great potential.

Talented young man. Great voice! Your son's voice reminds me of Philip Phillips, past winner of American Idol. I would encourage your son to continue working on his dreams. If possible find a good vocals coach and develop his innate talent to the fullest. I love his style of music. Best wishes!

Thanks. I do tell him the same. One thing that did enter his mind is what I told him about
playing others' songs: "To create a piece is one thing, to imitate it is something a monkey can do".
His performance of David Gilmour's guitar solo on "Time" is quasi feelingly. Anyway, he is now getting
to use his own wings to find his route.

Thanks a lot. As a former amateur guitar player and singer, I always try to remind him about
the key that will fit/suit HIS voice. That's what transcription is all about. Whenever I can reach
a certain tone, I simply change the song's key. After all, this is not classical music and we are
not playing along with the Berliner Philharmonic under Karajan or Bernstein...

We (he is siting right beside me) thank you all for the support and lovely words.
I try to serve him as a coach, but... you know... teens are not much fond of their
parents' tips.
Thank you, George, for your kind words.

I hope so. I told him to try to get at least 10 songs. Who knows he will be able to record
them ? Thanks a lot for your input.
I liked it too, and I am way too critical on his performance.
IMHO, I think he needs a decent transposition that could
"fit" his vocals. Thanks for watching.

It is just ok.
Yes, it is. It is a teen (between voices) and a nylon strings
Takamine.
Know what gives me comfort ? The Beatles started with
"Love Me Do". ;)
On the other hand, there is always the possibility of being
a one hit only musician and becoming a musical producer. :)
Despite my opposing opinion he wants to become a M.D.
and there are many M.D.'s out there that are still playing and
composing at their free time.
(Edit) Thanks for watching and for your valuable sincere opinion.
