Very good series, Marsdad, for a second there, I thought you were in Cuba, Spain, Italy, Puerto Rico or Mexico, but not Ireland.

You would win your bet. We visited quite a few. Love it when people stroll in with their musical instruments, sit down and start to play and soon there is a group of 6 or 7 making music, and of course drinking beers. Thanks for taking a look and commenting.

Ck. Amazon out for a book titled, "Historic Pubs of Dublin" -- it's an absolutely beautiful coffee table book.
And if I may be so bold to suggest "The Rocks" by Sydney Harbour next time you're there. Beautiful old English style pubs

great shots! Been to Ireland 3 times, West side is my favorite. All the towns and villages are colorful. I agree it's to brighten their often deary, cold days. Or perhaps something to do after a day in the local pub.

Thanks Craig I will take a look. Had the pleasure of visiting many of the famous pubs and downing a beer or two. Have also visited the Rocks in Sydney and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, in over 40 years of traveling the only real trouble occurred in Sydney. I got mugged walking back to my hotel after enjoying a night at the Opera House. Saw a fabulous performance of Madame Butterfly.
