Our ‘old boy Ted’ is making his way to Rainbow Bridge to meet up with our other pets. He has been such a wonderful affectionate cat who arrived as a big feral 17 years ago, all hissing and spitting. I trapped him and off he went to the vets, was tested and neutered. I thought when I released him over the fields he wouldn’t be back but that afternoon he was sat in the garden. It took a year to tame him and then he moved in. We previously had eleven cats who landed on our doorstep, as we live in a small village surrounded by farms, hubby always said, there must be a sign showing them where to come!

All our cats had different personalities but Ted was one that certainly found his way into our hearts, we called him our gardening buddy. he loved to hinder and help. We have cried and smiled remembering all his little quirks.

We miss you Ted, safe journey to Rainbow Bridge.

Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing Ted with us. Like yours, my heart is filled with four legged children who have gone over that bridge. Our tears are a small price to pay for all the love.

So sorry for your pain, Sylvia. In the long run the joyful memories will help you overcome the loss. Ted certainly made a good choice when he decided where he wanted to live.

So sorry, I just went through the same thing with my 16 year old kitty cat last September. Still missing her every day. Ted was a beautiful cat.
