Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing Ted with us. Like yours, my heart is filled with four legged children who have gone over that bridge. Our tears are a small price to pay for all the love.

Thank you very much axiesdad.

Excellent series, Sylvia and so sorry but know that you have some great memories. We also had many kitties over the years, and like you, they all seemed to find our home and one, in particular, will never forget and his name was WP---short for worthless pussycat because when he first appeared at our doorstep I said "wonder where that worthless pussycat came from" and all three of us (Ellen, Jeff our son and I) made a pact that we would not feed him so he would go somewhere else but later discovered that we were all sneaking food to him. Like Ted, he became very special to us and was very loving and traveled and played with us as many dogs would and we still miss him and speak of him frequently, so really know your sorrow! Take care, Corky

So sorry for your pain, Sylvia. In the long run the joyful memories will help you overcome the loss. Ted certainly made a good choice when he decided where he wanted to live.

Thank you so much Carol.

Our ‘old boy Ted’ is making his way to Rainbow Bridge to meet up with our other pets. He has been such a wonderful affectionate cat who arrived as a big feral 17 years ago, all hissing and spitting. I trapped him and off he went to the vets, was tested and neutered. I thought when I released him over the fields he wouldn’t be back but that afternoon he was sat in the garden. It took a year to tame him and then he moved in. We previously had eleven cats who landed on our doorstep, as we live in a small village surrounded by farms, hubby always said, there must be a sign showing them where to come!

All our cats had different personalities but Ted was one that certainly found his way into our hearts, we called him our gardening buddy. he loved to hinder and help. We have cried and smiled remembering all his little quirks.

We miss you Ted, safe journey to Rainbow Bridge.

Sylvia, I understand the pain you and your hubby are going through. Your set of photos is an awesome tribute, High Five.

My condolences, it's always sad and difficult to lose a precious life. We have 5 cats here, each with their own personality. I love them so much and dread the time when we have to part. Thanks for sharing you stories and images of Ted.
