I know how you are thinking about the freedom of the road, but I really wouldn't have wanted to drive that trip myself. But for that, yes, freedom to roam every time!

We left Lahr in a '73 Westfalia, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and back..and in a West you can roll down the windows because you are climbing at about 20 km/hr
