I like to mood of these images very much. We love to visit the Redwood forests where moss covered trees are prolific. I do prefer the warmer tone of #1, before WB correction. I also would crop to make the red flowers more prominent. I do remember the green moss to be a little more saturated.

I played around with cropping and debated about giving the red leaves more importance. Since I was trying to show the moss, I decided to stick with these crops, thinking the red was more of an accent color.
Thanks for the visit and comments Mike. If you enjoy moss, maybe you've visited Point Lobos just south of Carmel. There's plenty of moss as well as very interesting gold/orange lichen. Plenty of photo ops there for sure.
