I know what you mean krashdragon. The moss and lichen seem to take on a life of their own.

I felt the same way as the light hit the moss. Most of the time you don't even notice it. The tree itself is pretty nondescript.

The light on the moss (and lichen) made all the difference. This tree was otherwise uninteresting.
