Great shots! We were in Sabi Sands in June. Loved every minute of it and can't wait to get back. But Australia and NZ are on our short list for either this year or next!

Finally posting a short series from some very fine days on two separate Reserves. We started on Tintswalo and ended on Mala Mala. Both are adjacent to Kruger and the game moves unimpeded between the Reserves and Kruger. Download, double click for best view/detail.

Thanks. I have tried to be critical and hard on myself and look for things like eye color variations in the subjects before processing the shot. The equipment will do amazing things if you work at it. Up here near Fredericksburg there are some really good shooters in our group and I am second tier to them.

Looks great to me and we also have many very good ones in the Williamsburg Camera Club, but unfortunately, I'm just a plugger but have lots of fun! Take care!

Thanks to all that responded. I am glad the shots seem to be well received. I thought these were representational of the collection. I realize I left out a lot of the birds. Somewhere I have a great eyeball centered closeup of a bush/twig snake and I will post that once I get to it again. The pythons have great textures but the shots are merely pedestrian. Oh - I forgot about the Pangolin too! It walked right over my foot. We were excited for the guides because they all came - without guests - racing in from all over when it went out on the radio. To see them act like kids at Christmas let us know it was a treat. Some of them had never seen one walking above ground - only in burrows/stationary.
The other shooter flew from Hawaii to Johannesburg with several stops over a full day. I flew from Dulles (VA) and remarkably it was a non-stop 13,200 mile flight. Brutal. Even though I can sleep anywhere its hard to pass that much time. But once there........
