What a fantastic set. I love that 1st image. What lens were you using.
Another excellent set Paul.
Thanks for the shots. Some of my favorite planes.
As a kid, I lived less than a mile from Carswell AFB and the plant where they made the B24, B36, B58 and then after growing up the F111 and the F16.
The place we lived from 1943 to 1955 was White Settlement, Texas, but it was called Liberator Village in honor of that first plane built there.
Those planes built at Consolidated, then Convair, then Gerneral Dynamics and on to Lockheed Martin, made me want to be a pilot. It was General Dynamics in 1966 and they were building the F111 when I graduated from college and worked there for a year before I was drafted. What a trill it was for me to walk down that mile long production line and watch them build those planes.
Had a real thrill last year when we took a flight around Dallas on that Collings Foundation B24. If any of you ever get a chance to do something like that, I highly recommend it.
Nice shots and interesting information. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful images...
Once again a great set of planes in flight. Your talent in capturing these planes close-up and in perfect sharpness is amazing. Looks like I'll have to put the Stuart Air Show on my calendar of events to attend as it's an easy drive from my home base in central Florida.
Excellent set, your narratives are always great.
Such a great series !! Thanks for sharing your wonderful images. I especially like #1.
Nice proper prop blur! Great sharpness for 600mm and 1/250 shutter!

All of the adjectives and adverbs have been used...there's nothing left to say !! But thank you Paul for the beautiful images
and also for taking time to help so many of us on UHH with you're "no non-sense" comments and answered questions.

Thank you dmc! I've queued up a few posts from a wide range of results from the Jacksonville and Stuart airshows where a lot of excellent planes flew in wonderfully clear light. Glad you've enjoyed and hopefully will enjoy more from these shows.
