The non profit Stuart Air Show is held annually in November at Witham Field in Stuart, Florida. The 3-day community event highlights aviation, and provides financial support for local non-profit organizations using proceeds from the event.

During its early service, the de Havilland Vampire was recognized for accomplishing several aviation firsts, such as being the first jet aircraft to traverse the Atlantic Ocean. The Vampire quickly replaced most of the RAF's WWII piston-engine fighter aircraft beginning in 1946. The Vampire remained in front-line service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) until 1953.
The Vought F4U Corsair is an American fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. From the first prototype delivery to the U.S. Navy in 1940, to final delivery in 1953 to the French, 12,571 F4U Corsairs were manufactured in 16 separate models. Its 1942-53 production run was the longest of any U.S. piston-engine fighter.
Quick Silver was the dream of father and son team Bill and Scooter Yoak. Quick Silver was built using parts recovered from over 200 Mustang bodies. Work began in 1994 and the plane began flying in 2007.
he USAF Heritage Flight was created in 1997 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the United States Air Force (USAF). It incorporates fighters from World War II, the Vietnam War, the Korean War and other conflicts in which the USAF has been involved.
Designed as an air superiority day fighter, the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon evolved into an all-weather multi role aircraft. Over 4,500 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976. Although no longer being purchased by the U.S. Air Force, the plane remains in service for the USAF and for numerous allies.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-engine, single-seat, all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft that first flew in 1938. The American Volunteer Group (AVG) flew 100 P-40s for the Chinese Air Force in 1941-1942. The AVG fighter aircraft were painted with a large shark face on the front of the aircraft, earning the nicknamed the Flying Tigers.
