Most any P&S will do that if you just use Auto mode. Keep the zoom range short, 120 max would be fine. Be aware that the cheaper P&S's will have a bit of lag time to write to the SD card so steadiness before and after the shot is important. Otherwise the photos could end up blurry from camera movement.

great point. For most of us, photos are to record memories....few are in it as a business.
