Go for it. Especially if they offer an employee discount!

RRS makes very good products, not likely you will will find better quality anywhere else. I hear all the time how expensive their products are, however that is only because people don't understand what is actually required to produce equipment of that caliber. If you calculate the cost of materials, hard anodizing, engraving, machining, shop overhead for the equipment not to mention your employees, the price of RRS products is really a bargain. Folks in America are just used to paying extremely cheap prices for items made in other countries, often made by companies owned and subsidized by the government. When we buy from companies like RRS or Wimberely we get top notch equipment at a very fair and realistic price which reflects what it really costs to produce.

I use their products. Their products are of top quality. Expensive. Great reputation. Their products hold their value.
Great products, but that doesn't make the company a great employer. Take it one step at a time.
Purchased my first RRS tripod, ball head with lever release panning clamp 11 years ago. Prior to RRS I’d buy a new tripod probably every 4 years or so after being dissatisfied with the design such as snapping legs etc which shock your hands in cold weather or the tripod simply loosening at the joints and not providing the stability I desire.
The RRS tripod that’s 11 years old is still in absolutely pristine condition. Unbelievable. I’ve since purchased an even larger tripod, pano gimbal head, and other brackets. Everything is design and manufacturing perfection. Expensive yes - but I view them as lifetime purchases.
I use a RRS Ball head and L bracket. Their products in my opinion are about the best there is out there. I have no experience with their tripods so can’t comment on them. It is expensive gear.

Just curious, anyone on here use Really Right Stuff photography products? They are moving their manufacturing to just a few miles from me and I am looking at applying for a job they have that perfectly fits my skills.
They have a stellar reputation among those who review accessories. They seem to take their time with design and engineering and manufacturing... They make some pretty cool stuff, customized for various camera and lens models:

Excellent products. I can't afford them new, but I look for used RRS products and buy them when available. Not too many are offered in the 'Bay - which says something. The ones I've gotten, used, have really held up.
Good luck!
Awesome products. Lens foot brackets with built in Arca Swiss plate.
Top quality, but also the highest price accessories.
I just bought a tripod, ball head, and brackets from them. Great products.

Good luck with the job. If you get hired please check on whether you can declare all UHH members as family for any possible family discounts for their excellent products.
