Don't know if MAC oprates like this, but in windows there is a "program files" folder where every program that gets loaded goes into the "program files" folder as a subfolder (for instance Photoshop can be found in program files/adobe/adobe photoshop). I have had to go into the program files folder after I have uninstalled software and delete the subfolder of that software to get it completely removed from my computer.
