In the early morning light in the swamp a beautiful Immature Little Blue Heron posed for me
It was another fine day in Big Cypress Swamp. Please enjoy the download and double click, Thank you
You continue to out do yourself! Beautiful!
You have amassed a wonderful collection of egret/heron images, Greg. And might I add; a very beautiful one.
Your ability to get such wonderful detail in the white feathers is amazing, Greg!

Fantastic, Greg, and really great double-click and it was styling those green legs which just about matched its eye color! :sm09...Greg, We viewed a program concerning the beginning and early years up to into the fifties of the Everglades titled "The Swamp" on PBS last night that was sad but very revealing of those early years and certainly showed how only a few dedicated people can make a difference, and how we came close to completely destroying it and still have much work to do! You probably have already viewed it and know you are involved with some of the park personnel, but wonder if many of the visitors know how much effort it took to restore it so far and how much still needs to be done! I've been reading about it for many years before we finally made it down, and remember the agreements finally made between most parties concerned, somewhere around the year 2000 and the problems and setbacks since then, but thank God we have made it this far. Love your beautiful images and always enjoy viewing them! Take care
