Thank you so very much, Corky, greatly appreciate your comment, so glad you enjoyed, I did not see that PBS show, but many friends called me about it. I have to check it out on line. When I am not out shooting in the Glades, I am protesting any commercial intrusion that would destroy what we have. A few years ago a group of us walked the 80 miles along 41 through the Everglades to protest a destructive plan slated for the Glades. We did it over a two year period walking in 40 mile stretches, over a period of days. We would stop each day and be ferried out to the Micosukee Reservation and taken out, by airboat, to Tear Island, one of their ancestral islands. We would camp out in the Chickee Hut and be ferried back to resume our walk in the morning. We spent many hours in County meetings in Miami and Naples, and finally won the day. We will continue to do what is necessary to preserve our Glades. Take care

Thanks, for all that you guys did and are still doing, Greg and when you look back in history concerning many of our National Parks it was an uphill fight from the beginning with a few proponents which would just not accept no for an answer as was so well documented in series such as the history of our National Parks by Ken Burns...When I saw the word Chickee Hut it made me think about an article in the winter 2019 issue of the National Parks magazine about a couple with a three-year-old son and a friend with a five year old daughter making a seven-day loop trip starting out of Flamingo campgrounds and camping at the Chickee Huts each night...a good read if you have a chance! Always great to hear from you and think of the Glades often. Take care! .
