Wow. I love the D&S. With the snow these are superb...especially #4. Thanks!

Wonderful images photolady. I especially like Number 4.
Great set, everything is right about your work on this. Just enough snow, just enough sunshine, just enough clouds, just the right location.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad train that is.
# 1 and 2 for sure. Very nice
Beautiful photos! My wife and I took this train in September 2005 when we returned from an overseas assignment, just when we experienced our first snow of the year. It was a beautiful experience. Your photos are excellent. Thank you for sharing.
Great set!
Merry Christmas!
Very nice train photos! I would like to go back to ride this one more time.
DITTO from every comment!!!!

A beautiful set of photos! Where were you standing when you took those and how did you get there?
This is in the Rockwood area. You have to walk up the tracks a little way then up the hillside to the overlook.
I had another photographer see me taking photos from the road and he clued me in to this spot just a little hike away!
[quote=Gampa]Beautiful composition, colors and clarity. What camera, lens and settings did you use[/quote
Thank you! I have the Canon 5D MIV and the 24-105 STM lens. Glad you liked them!
Beautiful pictures.
I've been here and observed the beautiful landscape in the fall and now, thanks to you, in the winter.
I've made # 4 my wallpaper.
Great capture! I love riding that train with the grand kids.
