I did a lot of research for a new DSLR camera. I ended up with a canon 80-D with 3 lenses. 18-135mm 55-250mm and a 50mm prime lens. I guess opinions don't matter now because its on the way. Hope I chose well. looking forward to asking more questions once I receive and start using it.

Mike,
I have had this camera for a year now. The 18-135mm lens is my go to choice for a general purpose walking around lens. I have been very happy with this set up. For me it was an upgrade from a T3i. You chose well!

You chose very well. A camera that is excellent all around and your system is future proof as all lenses you buy can go with new advances including full frame camera.
Have fun and congratulations on your new camera.
A couple pictures taken recently with 80D and 18-135 IS USM f/3.5-5.6.
Thank for the opinion. We are going to Alaska this summer and my old Minolta film camera was just to tired.
Thanks

Welcome, congratulations on the new acquisition. Enjoy
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing some photos.
I have found out this package is imported meaning the canon warranty is not in effect. The seller on e-bay gives there own 1 yr warranty. The camera and lenses are supposed to be new. I will receive it tomorrow. What makes it different and aren't pretty much all cameras made off shore. It is a canon 80-D with three canon lenses, bought through Tri-State Camera. Any Thoughts?
Welcome to the HOG!
BTW I think you did good.
Does that mean it doesn't matter that is says imported?
