This is the first Free Sunday of this New Year. So come by with leftovers from last weeks challenges, or any new work you are particularly fond of, post it and share with us all.

A snowy owl is visiting my area. These are from two different days. The spikes on the parking lot light are there to keep birds from perching on them. The owl is from out of town and did not get the message.
P1 Love the last shot jimber
P1 Many captions could be put to this work

TILT !!!
I photographed this mystery ship in the French harbor of Nice in December, 1946, while on furlough from my post in Occupied Germany. I was alone at the time and don't speak French, so I have no idea what happened there, but the tilted masts seem to still be attached to the deck, and the hull seems to be floating on the water. So I'm appealing to our resident shipbuilder, RR, for an estimate of what he thinks happened here. I suppose it could have been damaged during the Liberation of southern France in 1944.
