FYI the average size of a Turnip is 2.0 to 7.9 inches.

See, just something else new I learned since joining UHH!

So, those turnips were definitely on the larger size, but not
really all that unusual, I guess. (Although I was impressed...LOL)

during that "period" (1750-1770ish), it was quite the ride.
