What a total load of bullshit!! The whole A series is full frame!
Did Sony pee in your morning coffee!?

A most rude reply. Although I am a very new member, I did not expect to see this kind of language here.

Yes it was (a most rude reply) and the originator of the message I responded to deserved it. I seldom get this agitated...

Sorry, I was speaking of Alpha-mount cameras---DSLRs:
Sony a900 -- Discontinued 2011
Sony a850 - Discontinued 2011
Sony a99 - Discontinued 2016
Sony a00 II -- Current
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_%CE%B1_cameraSony now uses the term "Alpha" for cameras that are not
Alpha-mount (FFD = 44.5 mm).
It is possible to disagree without being disagreeble.

Cameras don’t take pictures, people do. Talented photographers take fantastic photos with Sony cameras.
How can you imagine that anyone would take your posts seriously?
Pretty hard to take a photo without a camera, tdekany.
Tools do matter --- perhaps not to you (since your mission
in life apparently is to follow me around making contentless
posts).

Look in the mirror, tdekany.

A talented photographer will take a superior photo with a P&S camera over a snapshot shooter like you and I with a MF camera.
No one says that we don’t need a camera to take a photograph. And you should know this by now, light, composition, subject matter trumps everything else.
The ONLY reason you don’t post any photos, is because of your lack of talent. You talk the talk, but you can’t walk the walk.

He can't look in the mirror, he went mirrorless!

Don’t flatter yourself, you just happen to post in threads that are interesting to me. Why would I follow an armchair expert? You haven’t posted ANYTHING that would help me take better photos. All you talk about is how everyone is wrong and you are right. I’m just pointing out your narcissistic behavior.
I’m sure that I’m not the first to that correct?
If you want to have anyone to pay attention to what you have to say, post your work of art. One amazing photo will do more for you here than all the nonsense you post. As you can see by now, talk is cheap around here. People like Gene, or Steve Perry, when they talk, people listen.
Smart people learn from other people’s mistakes, stupid people learn from their own.
If I had to guess, I would say that you are a very old bitter man with a tremendous ego, who always felt superior to other people and you expected everyone to listen to you. But thank Jesus, you were surrounded by people who saw through you and didn’t give a hoot about what you had to say. Even at this age, you still haven’t learned the most important thing. YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT.
I would not be surprised, if you had a mild case of Asperger syndrome. I base all this on your style of posts. Extremely arrogant.

Thanks for the product endorsement. I'm sure the manufacturer (what wouldn't be you, would it?)
appreciates it.
Have you tried the fast, friendly service and delicious Chiken Fries at Burger King,
America's premier fast-food restaurant?
Actually, I might as well fess up. Sony cameras are built in my basement and I am the chief consultant for Sony's research, development, and design. If it camera's features do not pass my high standards it simply does not go in to production. Also, the production line workers and I prefer Chick-fil-A - Minis in the morning, strips at noon, and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/large fries in the evening. Also, a large sweet tea with lemon. A happy, well fed worker is important to quality control.
Hope this helps.

You're right, Vaughn! Nobody here is a camera dealer, store owner, eBay seller, repairman, or works for
any company related to photography.
Nobody but disinteresting, altruistic well-wishers on the Internet!

More paranoia. We have MtShooter who owns a camera store. Every one knows that except you. We have representatives from Adorama and B&H. Clearly stated in their signature.
Btw, who do you work for? Why are you so against digital camera makers?
You are anti mirrorless, what are you doing here in this thread? Why are you putting down mirrorless every chance you get?
Read the thread title. You are clearly not.
