Thanks for posting the short specs sheets, reading it again reminded me of the other reason I got the medium, I did not want to have to add a dongle to have wireless connectivity which the small requires and the medium and large have bluetooth built in. As well as four times the pen pressure levels (pen sensitivity) as the small.
I am glad the small is perfect for you, enjoy!
My small pro has built in Bluetooth, no dongle. The small pro also has the same pen pressure sensitivity

That's great, not what the sales spec sheets say, but I am happy to admit I don't know, I went by what was in the sales specs which look what the other poster attached to his last post.
I think it's great if they have all the same features.
I have to small one and have no problems with connectivity. One piece of advice, don't lose the little ANT USB antenna. I did and now I have to use a cable to work with my device. I could buy another one but it requires purchasing the whole assembly that plugs into the side of the device, not just the USB antenna. It's not a lot of money, about $35 but it would be nice if they'd sell the antenna part alone. I couldn't cost more than a few dollars.
Learning to use the Wacom is another issue. It's not hard but it takes some practice. It's not a mouse. It doesn't work like one at all. You'll need to spend some time getting used to how it works. I suggest you don't need a medium or large size one. I bought the small one and in some cases I think the drawing area is too big. You can customize the size of the drawing area no matter which one you get, but all that extra area is superfluous for photography, in my opinion anyway. Besides, if your work area is crowded like mine you'll need the space. I have a small desk with my laptop on it along with the 24" 4k monitor. Add in the Wacom pad and there's not much room left. If you have a desktop arrangement you'll need room for your keyboard plus the Wacom. In this case small is better. Like I said, in my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.
Why aren't you using Mojave? It's the current operating system for MAC.
