In My Humble Opinion, less of the top half, more of the bottom half, and both in full color... ? Yeah, I think so.

I don't usually jump into 5 page threads ( Although I like to follow because that means a good topic ) I thought of this I took last year on a whim. Never was real happy with it. Any suggestions?

Hey Dixie Lee,

Here is a picture that I took on a glacier in Glacier Bay National Park. It is a reflection of people standing near this puddle of water.

Here is one I took the other day, while driving. Just pointed the camera at the mirror, and took about 40 shots. This was the best one. I manually focused before I started driving.

Mt Rainier is one place I never tire of. It was 13 years after I moved to Washington before I ever saw the Mountain. It was always in the clouds when I was in an area where it should have been visible!

Some of these pics of reflections of trees or what ever look pretty neat if you turn the pic upside down and crop out the bank making it look like some kind of distorted or photoshoped picture. I look at some of these upside down and I thought some of them looked kinda neat.

Don't understand the comment. I am not being mean but open your eyes and mind.

That's a WHOLE bunch better! Now, if only the center line hadn't been dead center! Ya know what I mean? Not too many people on here will give a thumbs up to a horizon type line that's smack-dab in the center. Otherwise that's a good shot. Keep up the good work.

They're just talking about the interesting artistic effect when you turn upside down a reflection shot. Actually, I do that quite a lot, you know, crop and rotate 180, and then sit back and look at it. Pretty neat stuff usually.

This is a 50 year old office building reflected in the windows of a modern sky scraper.

I too wish the posts would go under the photo being talked about. Being new to the forum I've been wondering if I was doing something wrong. That being said, it is SeaTac. Here's some more at the same location.

To DixieLee:
The lake reflection photo was taken at Donner Lake, just west of Truckee, California. There are homes around the lake and one of the summer cabins can be seen in the picture.

One of my favorite things to photograph are reflections, especially the ones in water. I love the way the ripples distort and create impressionistic images. Do you have any reflection pictures you would like to share with me?

Like the rippling in your photo

I am not trying to be mean either but open your eyes and mind and look at some of these reflections rotated 180 degrees crop out everything but the reflection and it makes for some interesting looking images...get it.
