One of my favorite things to photograph are reflections, especially the ones in water. I love the way the ripples distort and create impressionistic images. Do you have any reflection pictures you would like to share with me?

Hey, DixieLee! Glad to see you posting some of your wonderful photos. Folks, DixieLee is the Ol' Gizzywhicker's favorite gal, and a member of his camera club that will be judging the contest photos, posted on another string. The theme of that contest is "A Feeling Of Warmth". Thanks again for starting this string on Reflections. I'll dig through some of my stuff and see if I can come up with a good one. You always best me in this department, though, so I don't have much hopes of equaling yours.

Well, DixieLee, this pond reflection is about the best I could come up with at the moment. You "see" things that I don't see to take photos of. I thought about maybe taking a reflection of myself in the bathroom mirror, but I'm pretty sure the Ugly Hedge Hog has photo police pursing the sight pretty much all the time, and I'm quite sure a photo like that would be yanked off in a hurry!

That's neat you took a picture of reflections in a puddle in the road. A man in our camera club took a picture of a leaf reflection in a puddle, holding his little point & shoot out his truck window. He entered the photo in well-known photo contest at a local university... and won grand prize FIRST PLACE in the category. So, you see, you just never know what kind of photo might be lurking right under your nose in a puddle of water in the road.

Good Grief!!! First it was Gessman taking pot shots at me. Now DixieLee's leveling a bead on me too. Just you guys wait, one of these days I'll get lucky and take a photo better than yours and Gessman's both put together. THEN we'll see who's king of the Clicker Hill!

The clouds in west Texas make for some good shots
