I like it's dark look. I tend to like darker images as a whole, though. Nice work.
Is your computer monitor calibrated?
The image is quite dark... And whenever I see that, the first thing that occurs to me is that most monitors left uncalibrated are waaaayyy too bright for accurate image exposure adjustments. That causes people to adjust their images too dark.
I hope you don't mind, I downloaded and "brightened" the image quite a bit, referencing my calibrated computer monitor (Photoshop > Image Adjustments > Curves). I also slightly reduced the yellow channel.
Before I adjusted it with curves, the histogram showed virtually no data in the right hand third. The biggest difference came when I slid the "white clip" over to the left, just short of where the data starts appearing. I also "bent" the curve up slightly to open up the middle tonalities. I didn't change the dark side of the histogram at all

No, I don't mind at all. Thank you for taking the time to tweak it. My monitor has never been adjusted as it's quite new. But, I'll have to look into it. Thanks for your evaluation.
Beautiful sharp image. Would have been great in color. As is, so so.

No, it would have made a lousy color photo. It was a dreary, drab, grey day, with only a hint of a patch of blue sky. Hence, the so-so b&w pic. My problem is that I get carried away with adjustments and feel I've got to share this latest creation with the world, when I should wait for 24 hours and look at it with fresh eyes and realize there's little chance of taking a so-so photo and making it a show stopper.
Well taken b&w image. good work.
I really like this one
