I like the first version you posted. It captures my attention more than the second which appears to be a little flat but I love post processing so I could be a little biased.

I like the "over processed" one. I think it looks a lot better than the "realistic" one. Sometimes "realistic" is not a worthy goal.

I like the first shot a lot. The painter uses brushes to add color to his canvas, we use software. Most painters I know (3) use color to make their canvases pop and I see no reason as photo artists to change that idea. Some photos, like this one, just have more appeal when cooked up a bit. Yours does not looked garish, just attention grabbing. To me that is.

Its cute as you say and Snapseed did a good job. Apps like Snapseed are good as they make picture making within the reach of anyone with a cell or a basic point and shoot. The one click aspect means actually there is no creativity involved and not much thought required.The software does all the work.What comes out is often a surprise be it good or bad. Its fun so enjoy it for what its worth

I've learned not to be afraid of post processing, and so like Keni (and Linda from Maine), I like the first photograph. It is interesting to look at and not merely a "snapshot" which I think is what the second and third photographs end up being.

I agree with you - however, I was impressed with the amount of tools that Snapseed had like a scaled down Lightroom. It was fun to use and on this pic, worked well ;)

I am still trying to figure out what strings did the pier owner pull to get that bridge to the shack's back door built.
The one on photo right.I have looked at all three versions and find pluses in all three. The results have their own "demands" depending on usage. Other posters have gone into them above.
I did see the gull awaiting for its toll from the approaching fisherman.
