Here are some more photos from our 492 mile 14 hour drive to the Eastern Sierras on October 13 to look at fall colors. I posted part 2 on 11/12/18, but it didn't make it into the Photo Gallery. These photos were taken on the June Lake Loop off of U.S. 395, from the parking area at Silver Lake. I hope you enjoy them. All were taken with my Canon 80D and EF-S 18-135 lens. The photos in this series are the first photos I've post-processed, and I used Lightroom.
Wonderful golden Fall colors showing up in these Eastern Sierras photos. Looked at the two post prior to this one & these really catch my attention. Actually reminds me of moments we have seen while driving into the Rockies during our Colorado years.....which I miss greatly! Have always loved the mountains.....as well as living by the Sea of course! Bob

Thank you for the kind comments Bob, and I'm glad you enjoyed them. I also love both the mountains and the ocean. We are fortunate to be close to both. We are within an hour of the coast and actually live at the base of Mt. Diablo, which is almost 4,000 ft tall. I can't imagine living more than two hours from the coast. We're also only 4 hours from Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.
