I wouldn’t worry about it! They will be around along time. You have an awesome camera with about 90 lens to pick from

If you google the subject asking if M4/3 is dying or dead, you will see many discussions from various sources on the topic.

I love my G9; who cares what Tony Northrup and all the youtubers who piggy backed on his opinion think.

Fellow UHH Members - This is the hysterical Mr. Bill to whom we have been listening. Hysteria is defined as follows: “exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement, especially among a group of people”. Mr. Bill’s characteristic response is “Oh, NO-o-o-o!” spoken in a high-pitched childish tone. Look at his UHH profile avatar if you don’t believe me.

Mr. Bill is a troll. A troll is defined as follows: “a person who makes a deliberately offensive or provocative online post”

The act of trolling is defined as follows: “making a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting a group or an individual or eliciting an angry response from them”

I swear that there are those out there who just love to stir the pot. For example, Tony Northrup had a recent blahblahblah about M4/3 being dead/dying, and then the breathless, clueless pundits latch on to a foundless comment and give it a life of its own.
It is not dead, nor dying IMHO. Folks like yourself discover how cool the M4/3 format is and get hooked.
Uh, like me too. I've owned my G9 for a couple of months and could not be happier after being a dyed-in-the-wool Nikon user for 40+ years.
Repeating myself, read Daniel Cox's take on it on his blog at naturalexposures.com

Are you referring to the actual poster? I don't see his posts as trolling at all. Are we misunderstanding your commnet rjaywallace?

The 4/3rds format dead? Leica doesn’t think so and just released a new 4/3rds premium camera.

It uses a 4/3 sensor but it has a fixed lens.
