I have the X-T3 but haven't given up my D500 as the T3 isn't there yet for indoor sports like hockey, in my opinion. I also get the issue where it freezes up when shooting CH. I am on firmware 1.01 and I hear that's not the most recent so I'll update and revisit.
I like the steps they've taken with the T3, however. Things like Flicker reduction, improved autofocus, ability to custom pick WB. The buffer on the D500 is a monster though so that's hard to give up!
I use my T3 and T2 for absolutely everything else though. Love, love, love them!

I don’t shoot sports, mainly architecture and people.

Never fear. Mostly Canon and Nikon oh UHH. The Fuji owners are having to much fun to spend time posting here.

I've always thought of this site as being, primarily, a Canikon/Nicanon domaine ~ but, there are a few who shoot other brands and several of them are my favorite photography blog contributors on the internet.
Late to the game here (in more ways than one), but much the same as those who've commented previously, I too am a Fuji lover. Went retro, though, and only opted for an (antique) X-Pro1. Got a couple of standard Fuji lenses (which are spectacular), but prefer messing with classic glass. Fuji + Leica + (freebie) Capture 1 Fuji = photobliss.
Trouble is, I now find myself keeping an eye open for a used --and hopefully, now that the X-T3's are out, inexpensive-- X-T2. There's no likelihood whatsoever that my Nikon gear will get relegated to some dark shelf somewhere, but niche or not, Fuji has a heluvalot to offer to people that prefer images to pickshurs.
Thanks to all Fuji for posting.

I have pro-2 and xe-2. Many Fuji owners here.
I entered the Fujifilm world by purchasing an 18-55 "kit zoom" that happened to have a mint X-E2 attached to it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's more fun and simpler to use than my beloved Sony's. I've often thought of waiting for an X-Pro2 that fits my budget, specifically for the ACROS film simulation.
You own both cameras, so here's my question(s):
Is one the back up for the other?
Which camera do you find yourself using the most?
