I have a Fuji XT-2 and an XT-3. I still have my Canon 5DIII and assorted L lenses, but I find myself using my Fuji cameras more and more. I’m very impressed with both the cameras and lenses. And they’re just more fun!!!

I recently picked up the X-T3 and 5 lenses, loving it so far. I have used it for 2 commercial jobs, sadly my D850 and D500 are just sitting in camera bag. No plans to sell them though.

...The last 35mm camera I had was a Contax. I had the Zeiss 24mm, 50mm f1.4, and the 135mm lenses. I loved the clean special colors from the Zeiss lenses. I bought an X-T2 with grip that came with the kit lenes which were more than I expected and the wonderful 56mm f1.2.
The Fuji smaller size, lens value, and colors are the reason for the move to Fuji. The colors are, in their own way, are as alive as my Zeiss colors(though not the same).
I recently sold the X-T2 and kept the lenses, changing to the X-T100 body. I did so, because I felt I wanted the smallest kit that delivered the best still images. The Bayer sensor in the X-T100 gives me more of the clean sharp Zeiss look, that I am used to... I see the difference... some think I am just imagining it(I was university trained as an oil portrait artist... and hypersensitive to tonal color variations in skin).

I'm on a budget, but I have the X-T20 and love it, and an X-Pro1. I would like to get the X-T3. LR Classic CC, and Photoshop all work well with the Fuji's.

Have had Nikons for 40 years, but my Nikons are all gone now except for a few old ones - my old FM and my d200 and my 610, Have not used any of them recently, and gave away my last 2 dx bodies and my fave 18-200 lens. Ever since I got my X-T1 and later, my X-T2, have felt nothing but frustration trying to use the Nikons. Everything on the Fujis is accessible - right on the body. I finally have CONTROL of the process! And I can finally SEE what my photo will look like, both before and after I shoot it! A real camera!

Don't you love the control you have with the Fuji?. Once I started using the Fujis my Nikons became suddenly a chore to use, having to go through menus. And they are rugged too. Dropped my fuji on the kitchen floor. Shattered the flash, but the camera was just fine. Lens too.

I couldn't be happier with my X-T2 and the 18-135 that lives on it. My Nikon D-7100, a camera that I loved, now stays behind.

It is getting to be an oft repeated story. The Canons and Nikons sitting home in the desk drawer!

I also sold a Nikon D500 and lenses and moved to Fujifilm. Very happy with the choice!

I used to own the D500. I now have the X-T3. Got it the day it was released. IQ and AF match the D500 but with higher resolution sensor. Great camera for everything. Fantastic for astrophotography! Adobe is working on and will soon release an update for better processing of X-trans sensor output. Fuji lenses are the best APS-C lenses available. It is the system (camera + lenses) IQ, weight, etc. that should be considered, not just the camera.

My only problem is Lightroom and I will not renew my one year subscription. LR doesn’t process XT-3 raw very well. It’s bad enough that I am looking at other options. I love my camera enough that I wouldn’t give it up to be able to use Adobe.

I moved from Nikon FF with four quality Nikon lenses to the Fuji XT2. I loved my Nikon kit but the weight was too much on long hikes. Fuji is a more fun camera to operate and the raw files are wonderful. Fuji glass is comparable to Nikon glass and now I can hike further with the smaller Fuji system.

al13, You sold your D500? Do you shoot sports eith your X-T3?
I have the X-T3 but haven't given up my D500 as the T3 isn't there yet for indoor sports like hockey, in my opinion. I also get the issue where it freezes up when shooting CH. I am on firmware 1.01 and I hear that's not the most recent so I'll update and revisit.
I like the steps they've taken with the T3, however. Things like Flicker reduction, improved autofocus, ability to custom pick WB. The buffer on the D500 is a monster though so that's hard to give up!

I use my T3 and T2 for absolutely everything else though. Love, love, love them!

I have a D500 and X-T2. I find that I rely more on the Fuji to think for me. This was a problem I was having with the D500, but the EVF makes it worse. I find I am grabbing my F100 or M645 more frequently these days to force myself to think through the shots.

Don’t get me wrong, the newer stuff gets great images, I just have more of a feeling of accomplishment when I get the great shots with older tech and fully manual gear.

Flame suit on...
