Try this site: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php

It is primarily a Canon specific site. Scroll down near the bottom of the main page and there is a classfied ads section. It features both "want to buy" and for sale sections.

Good luck with your search.

You can get a refurbished 80D from Canon for $799.20 and it comes with same as new 1 year warranty, Canon strap, one battery and charger. You may get additional batteries at Best Buy a lot less expensive than Canon OEM and just as good.

If you are put off by the idea of refurbished, I have purchased a refurbished 80D from Canon and it looked and worked like new. I gave it to one of my daughters for use in her photography business and she is extremely happy with it. I have purchased other refurbished gear from Canon and never once have I ever had a problem.

They are currently out of refurbished 70D bodies.

Also, since you have the lenses, have you thought about a mirrorless like the M50? With the adapter, the M50 is like a mini 80D, and a new one costs less than a refurbished 80D. I have one and I'd stack it's image quality to an 80D any day.
There's also the 77D, the top of the line Rebel, and it doesn't even say Rebel on it. It may not have the features of the 80D but it actually has better IQ due to newer technology in both the image sensor and processor.

I will check the site, thanks... but the 80D refurbished is a bit out of my price range, and why I was looking for the 70D. They are out there... eg. mpb.com, ebay, facebook market, etc., but want to be cautious... checking shutter count, etc.

I'll look at the M50 but I have a feeling it is out of my budget also. I'm just a step above a hobbyist... but hoping to expand my skills to possibly do some travel photography and writing, etc.

Thanks again,
Christine

There seems to a definite range in pricing as I search.

I started out hoping to spend $350-400 but not having much luck so far. eBay starts low but you know how that goes with bidding, reserves, etc.

If it's in very good to excellent condition with fairly low shutter count... Looks like they are going for at least $450-500...I'm hoping to utilize PayPal credit for the purchase.

I was hoping to spend less, given my lower income status now (66yo) but also don't want to purchase something that already has many miles on it and possible issues.

Still have a few on my watch list at eBay. One advantage to some of the listings or eBay stores, b&h, etc., Is a 30-60 day return policy if you discover something wrong with camera.

Hope that made sense. Thanks for reply.

Interested. Send pix.

Shutter count? Can it support 64gb card?

If not used for so long has the battery been in all this time? Any corrosion?

If I take receipt, then discover defect, can I return within a week or so?

Do you know if I can pay with PayPal credit?
