I posted these images two days ago and for whatever reason they never made it to the daily digest. I am posting them again in hopes they make the daily digest so others can share in this fun exercise.

Was at the Nature Visions Expo in Manassas, Va last weekend and saw Charles Needle give a talk on creative iPhone photography. He is one of the most creative people I have ever met and it was really great seeing him again after many years. One of the things he mentioned in his talk was a lens kit for mobile phones. I purchased a set and ventured out to Lewis Ginter Gardens today to have some fun with my phone. Below are some of the photos I took with my phone and these specialty lenses. This does not represent all the lenses in the kit, but where applicable I labeled the image with the lens used. (Please note that I am presenting the basic function of these lenses and not necessarily fine art photography. LOL)

Nice phone photos, Dave. I believe they’ll do more than most folks give them credit for. I’ve replaced my carry-around camera with an iPhone and am learning how to use it effectively. What set of lenses did you purchase?

This illustrates that good photography is not dependent on the camera!
Lovely and creative! Thanks

Great set, Dave! We have been out of the Richmond area for 5 years and it is good to Ginter again. Planning for the winter exhibits there?

Somehow I knew there would be several of you very creative people that would want a set of these lenses for yourselves. I ordered this set from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Apexel-Fisheye-Telephoto-Kaleidoscope-Smartphone/dp/B075R7MBQN/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1541881588&sr=8-3&keywords=apexel+10+in+1+phone+camera+lens+kit&dpID=51ljbpyfdwL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

However, there are other sets available on Amazon as well such as this one that has one more lens to the kit

https://www.amazon.com/Fisheye-Telephoto-Kaleidoscope-Compatible-Smartphone/dp/B07DHGVJ5W/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1541881588&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=apexel+10+in+1+phone+camera+lens+kit&psc=1

Happy shooting to all of you and can't wait to see what creative ways you find for this fun lens kit.

Yes, they have a universal lens clamp that should work on most any phone with a camera. It worked fine on my son's Samsung phone.

Yes, they are feverishly stringing the lights in preparation for an opening the day after Thanksgiving. Can't wait.

Hi Mt, there is a little clamp that the lens screws into and then clamps over your phone camera. Very simple to use. Something like is shown in this image (not my image).
