Well composed and appealing images, Angler (even with no Vikings anywhere in evidence). As long as Britain has been settled, it's almost amazing to see such peaceful images, uncluttered by civilization. Were these scenes taken over here, they would also include at least one broken down rusty abandoned car, a Holiday Inn, two McDonald's, and at least one billboard urging passersby to vote for or against a given political question. And we won't mention all the trash scattered about.
I try to keep clear of the Tatty parts Randy but you've given me an idea and perhaps I can find some old ruined houses and barns, our barns arnt as pretty as yours though.Talking of the Vikings and Carr mill dam,the Viking name Carr /kcarr is a type of waterlogged wooded terrain or swamp so there's definite proof that we had Vikings in StHelens as well and the photo of the carpet of leaves in the undergrowth was possibly an escape route path back to Billinge after one of their raids on our fish ,chips and mushy peas chip shops
Thank you very much for looking in Randy I always appreciate it.Glad you liked them.
