Without. Brings the focal point to the rainbow.

The car is so distracting that you miss the nice background and rainbow

I much prefer the version without the car. In the car version the car becomes a major focal point which competes with the subject of the photo. As "they" say "If it doesn't add to the photo it detects from it!"

Better with or without the car in the image?

My preference is A. When I first looked at the photos, woth At eyes first goes to the car then the scene. With B my eyes went to the whitest cloud then down to the scene. With B, my eyes stayed with the clouds longer, before going to the scene, compared to A.

Without the car. I agree with the others who also said without the car.

Exactly. I agree.

Without does it for me! More mystery to the story I think without it.

I think the car becomes a distracting focal point. For me, the impact of the photo is the Nature all around the road and even the gentle curve of the road out of the scene. That said, I agree with one of the earlier respondents that the clouds are a bit blown out and detract from the overall image.

The exposure (ISO 800 1/640 @ f/20) was 1/3 stop darker than Sunny 16. Some of the clouds are blown out in the JPEG but if you have the raw file it's an easy fix.

On the other hand, f/20 and ISO 800 might be a bit much. f/8 is about the limit to avoid diffraction with APS-C. An ISO of 200 at 1/1000 sec @ f/8 would still give you plenty of DOF and the same look with little risk of noise.

The car adds nothing to the image.

Agree, and bring up the shadows of the tree line a bit.

With the car, however, with the clouds (sky) being blown out as they are, that makes any choice difficult...

Without. My first look drew my eyes to the car.

I agree, the car adds a focal point and life to the photo. Otherwise, the road just goes out of the frame.
