I have a t2i that came with the 18-55 kit lens. I have since added a 50mm and a 55-250mm. Look around for what the t3i goes for and make sure your seller is reliable and reasonable. I love my t2i and it has a wide range of functions to yield great images. The only parts issue I have had is the nut who holds the camera :-)

Up graded from a t3i to an 80d. Still use the t3i for backup. Great pictures (and lighter weight).

Ditto.

I very much enjoyed my T3i for several years. I passed it on to my granddaughter who is very grateful. Still going strong.

I'm courious. Do y,all know anything about a Canon T3i. Like approximate value in good condition. 2 lenses. 18 ×55 & 75 x 250. Something like that. E.O.S CanonT3i. Courious about performance & approximate value. If I could take a good picture , could I do it with the Canon T3i

I have a t2i and love it. Paid $200 for the body 2 years ago and ripped off tens of thousands of pictures. Built in flash came in handy a few times, even though I don't want to admit it.

I learned on the t1i. Still love it even though the low light performance is dated and sometimes it refuses to take a picture.

Carefull not to confuse the ti series with the non I cameras.

Some time ago I read an article that said the t3i was possibly the best starter DSLR going.

I am a very active "Amateur" photographer - been buying and using used SLR and DSLRs from my start in '91 - over the past 13 yrs I have been working my way up the ladder of Canon Rebels - XT - XTi and a couple years ago the T3i - I have been using kit lens - 18-55 & 100-300 which worked just fine- recently I wanted so IS aka VR like I had in my Lumix FZ7 bridge camera that I had gien to a family member and kind of regretted it just for the IS/VR - well my solution was not too expensive $200 for a Tamron 18-200 w/IS&VR - do I recommend the T3i - yes I sure do.

I have only a cursory set of specifics, but the canon lineage from T2i to T3i to T4i to T5i was only incrimental. The T3i added the articulating screen and one stop of ISO maybe, the T4i a processor and some in camera processing, and the T5i a couple of other bells and whistles but the sensor stayed at 18MP throughout.

I found a T5i in a local pawn for 300 including the 18-135 IS USM. They let me take it out for 30 minutes, while holding my credit card, and let me upgrade the firmware and install magic lantern to check the shutter count. 6300 count. Bought it and sold the body to a friend for almost a push..... sales tax. My caution on a T3i is only that it represents the oldest camera in this lineup that Canon still services. The T2i ran out of service a couple months back. Still, I have a T2i in service for my start trail stacks and it was the camera I learned the techie stuff on. T3i is a good camera for the right price.

Not sure what your price point is but Canon Refurbished usually has good deals with those lenses. I think the T6 is around $389 with both lenses and a year warranty. Got my 80d last year for $749.

One of our daughters has a T3i and has gotten some great photos with it. She upgraded to a 5D Mk IV this month, but is keeping the T3i.
