My Avatar picture is 47 years old and still my favorite picture, even though I didn't take it. I am for all intents and purposes a rank amateur. I grew up with Kodak and Kodachrome. Dropped out of photography for years due to lack of time--chasing the American Dream don't you know. I now have a Nikon D7200 about which I know almost nothing yet but I'm working on that daily. I have no "artist's eye" so I stick to wildlife and macro subjects mostly. I PP in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.
Welcome. We all were such, once.
