Looks to me like Kavanaugh is the liar here. He claims to have been a virgin, but his roommate from his freshman year recalls him saying the opposite.
He claims he was never a big drinker, but his drinking buddies recall him slurring his words and being a stumbling drunk.
In his book "Wasted: Tales of a Genx Drunk ", Mark Judge wrote about a character named 'Bart O'Kavanaugh' who drank until he passed out.
In his book "God and Man at Georgetown Prep: How I Became a Catholic Despite 20 Years of Catholic Schooling" describes the school as a 'nest of debauchery'.
Mark Judge has already given perhaps the best testimony that he could with his books, and while he could just as well dismiss some of the excerpts as exaggerations, he wrote those things at a time in his life when his motivations for detailing his experiences at Georgetown Prep were not influenced by a willingness to help defend himself or his friend Brett Kavanaugh.

Admin, please move this thread to the attic. The tone of some the respondents is getting really too offensive for public exposure.

This all happened 36 years ago. No one is telling the truth as it really happened. It is absolutely impossible. Memory is too inaccurate. Doesn’t mean they are conniving liars about what happened. The second Ford, a psychologist who knows better, said that she is 100% sure that Kavanaugh attacked her she lied. 95%, 80 %, I can consider truthful, but not 100%. The only piece of contemporary evidence is a calender that supports Kavanaugh. This is political farce at its worst. Modern Mcarthyism. A witch hunt. A lynching. I don’t blame Ford. She may well have been groped by Kavanaugh or someone else. There is, however, no way to know. No FBI investigation will uncover verifiable information. But this lack of due process before condemning is so dangerous to democracy and justice that it frightens me. The hate towards Kavanaugh expressed in blog after blog, who at worst was a thuggish drunk in his teenage years, is scary. I don’t want people in positions who haven’t made any mistakes. Every parent should be terrified of this process when looking at their children and their future. Why would any good person go into public service? This is why with 320 million people to choose from, we were left with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as candidates for the most powerful person in the world. I think Buckner was right when he said that you could call on the first 430 names from any phone book in The US and get a better House of Representatives than we have now. But who would want to do it? And don’t get me going about the silent hypocrisy of the left with then President Bill Clinton molesting women, many not reported ( I lived in DC at the time). There is more indignation in a day on the left over the actions of a teenager 36 years ago with unprovable allegations than they had over the entire 8 years about contemporary verifiable sexual assaults by the President of the United States.

Well, the great Lieutenant General Honore said it best, "Don't get stuck on stupid." While his comments were about a previous female (Hurricane Katrina), he could have very easily been referring to the Democrats on the todays Judiciary Committee.

You seem to have failed to listen to the testimony or refuse to understand it.
Brett was 100% honest and slut Ford lying through her teeth. I told my wife that this hearing was exactly like the one I saw before on the same subject. Ford responded exactly the same evasive and lying way as in the other trial I saw.Brett had a concise answer for every including the part you refer to in your confused and uninformed manner.

For those old enough to remember this fiasco yesterday resembled a trial in the Soviet Union where you could not face your accuser and the burden was for you to prove your innocence. This is the goal of ALL democrats. They are showing how they hate America and the Constitution. If you vote democrat you want the destruction of America and want this sort of Soviet style way of destroying people.

All of you presume the woman who has come forward is lying because it fits your political agenda. What if she’s telling the truth? It seems to me that if you’re a liar, the last thing you want is the FBI investigating your story. Yet she is the one asking for that to happen. Do the investigation before going any further. If she’s found to be telling the truth, reject the nominee at once. If she’s not, throw the book at her and lock her a$$ up for as long as the law allows.

Perhaps she did that hoping that they wouldn't but that it would make her story more plausible. I think Kavanaugh did the wise thing by telling his interrogators to do what they thought neccessary. In other words let it be on your head, not mine.

I have a question. If you had a ten year old son or daughter going through a stressful situation which would be your choice for a roll model to assist them through that difficult time?

Would you choose a weak, anxious, fear filled, self perpetrating "victim" or a tough, direct, independent person who has the compassion to listen to a child's prayers? Hmmmm.

Enough already! It's clear there were two entirely different hearing held in the United States yesterday concerning a nomination for the Supreme Court and they had totally different outcomes. So let's stop throwing gasoline on the fire. Do you really think trashing the participants or the other side is gong to accomplish anything? Does name calling and insulting really change people's minds?

First of all NONE of us were there 30 years ago and we do not know what happened. Also, 30 years is a long time to have a clear memory of exactly what happened then (noting that most people can't remember with any specificity what happened 30 days ago. This means there is no Truth (with a capital "T") so stop acting like we each know that Truth--we don't.

What is going on is political theater that continues to exacerbate the division in the United States and bring us closer to anarchy. We have a broken government now and we're all adding to how broken it is and to the danger that it will fail in a major way. If we are really vested in this country (most of us having no where else to go) we need to stop the bleeding and organize our thoughts about major things we want our government to do and trying to vote for candidates who will work for those things. All our candidates do now is say how bad the other guys are which is next to useless as far as saying what they will actually do in office.

Remember, we do not get to vote for Supreme Court justices so just back off.

This message has been brought to you by neither a Democratic nor Republican point of view--I'm just sick of this bickering as though we were rooting for two sports teams. I think we should be trying to get our country back for all of us.

Dear SharpShooter;
Thank you for your response to my recent post on UHH. I would like to elucidate a few of your misconceptions.
I am neither mentally challenged nor do I suffer from a low intelligence quotient. Because my question was original and not a quote you assumed I was ,"stuttering my insecurities out loud". Your assumption was wrong. I'm a fiercely independent woman who created and ran two businesses for nearly fifty nine years, provided for my retirement through wise investments and am still standing tall although my life has been altered by illness .
Now then, shall we speak about your difficulties?

Do you usually resort to negative labeling in response to a question you are not capable of answering? Does a challenging idea always reduce you to verbal denigration? Is it ubiquitious to your nature to make common use of terms such as "retarded", "stupid", "stuttering" when discussing serious issues?

In closing. If your intent was to hurt and injure another with your unkind words then you achieved your goal. If your intent was to stimulate thought or resolve an issue then you failed.

This is absolutely stupid!

You can, actually, speak to a girl without raping her, or assaulting her, groping her, taking her clothes off, smacking her, belittling her, or laughing at her.

Perhaps your mother didn’t speak to you—she should have—perhaps you learned (incorrectly) that you can’t have sex without violence, with equality or sincerity.

What stories your wife must have to tell...IF you have a wife.
