Ignorant dip shit. Form your own opinion and don't tell others what they need to think and stop assuming you know what someone thinks, you can't even keep what you think straight from moment to moment.

can you say
SARCASIM? It was a different time. You had to be there. I'm glad you weren't. He maybe could have been bigger than Dylan, but he stayed true.

Ma, it was not very subtle ridicule of Liberal hypocrisies of the time. Bill Maher does that job today.

Dylan refused to be the pet folksinger of the political left. He was THE MUSICIAN that changed pop forever with 5 albums.
Dylan told them "I ain't gonna work on Maggies Farm no more!"

There was some pretty interesting friction between Dylan and Ochs at the time. Dylan's move at Newport in '65 is still controversial. Ochs accused Dylan of having become one of his own "masters of war". Dylan became a rock star. Ochs was a folk singer with one AM hit, and that one probably surprised him. It's sad that he died of depression. It isn't uncommon among people of conscience.

I don't know much about Phil Ochs but with a song like 'Love Me I'm A Liberal', he didn't endear himself with the Official Folkies either.
This is another guy that 'ain't working on Maggie's Farm no more'. Robbie Fulks, a great all rounder, writer, singer, picker, and performer. He's had a long career preforming and recording, as good as any of them.
