I am going to convert a D850 to Astro conversion through Spencer’s camera.
Has anyone here done this and if so any ideas or recommendations
Thank you

From what I understand on the D810 A , normal photography has a red shift ..the D850 would probably have the same shift..

Indeed it does and yes the conversion will also have a red shift.

My original IR conversion was done by Spencer's. It took waaaaaaaaay longer then it should have, two months or more. Do your research before sending your camera. I now use Kolari Vision. Including shipping, I had my next camera back in hand 14 days later. Couldn't be happier with my decision to use Kolari Vision.

Beautiful noise free images. Did you stack multiple images to achieve such clean results?

Here is an image I captured of Mount Shasta earlier this year with D810A and Nikon 70-200 and first attempt with equatorial Mount.

And a couple without the mount, from this year.
All under varied conditions and lighting

The D850 with conversion will be an upgrade with its cleaner sensor, illuminated buttons. Cleaner screen, tilt screen, better dynamic range.
