Think you are referring to a different bridge, maybe the bridge tunnel just above Virginia Beach. Have not heard about any tunnel from Annapolis to the Eastern Shore.

Yes...there is also a bridge tunnel near Hampton Roads in southeastern VA. Might have been some local.chatter about possible solutions....not sure.

Nice shot. The bridge (both sides) are old, narrow and somewhat scary with lots of traffic. I do my best NOT to close my eyes while driving on it.

Good shot, fiat76! We've been over it many times! Our son in southern VA just called to say the bridge is closed due to the pending storm.
